In total there are 27 athletes in the team coming from 8 different nations. The average age of the athletes is 27 years. The youngest team member is Vedel Kvist who will be 22 on the 18th August, the most experienced team member is Italian athlete Marco Velo who will be 36 in March. The team also has 1 team manager, 5 Sporting Directors, 3 doctors, 1 Press Officer, 6 mechanics, 8 masseurs, 2 drivers and 2 people working in the Team’s operational office in Wevelgem. In total the sporting group employs 55 people made up of athletes, managers and collaborators. The team’s riders will ride more than 240 race days.
A total of 16 Peugeot vehicles are at the team’s disposal: 8 407 models, 4 5008 models, 2 Expert that are used for VIP services, 1 3008 model and 1 607 model. In addition to these vehicles the team also has 2 buses, 2 lorries and 1 van. The team’s vehicles make an average of 1.000.000 km trough Europe for a total of more than 98.000 litres of fuel. The flight tickets to cover the races cost more or less 225.000 Euro The team has at their disposal 90 Eddy Merckx road bicycles and 34 Eddy Merckx time trial bikes. They also have more than 160 FFWD Wheels pairs of carbon wheels, 30 pairs of lenticular disc wheels and 35 pairs of wheels especially designed for the cobble/paving races.
More than 100 helmets and 150 pairs of racing glasses delivered by BBB will be used throughout the season. Throughout the season a total of 450 racing jerseys will be used, 500 pairs of racing shorts, 2,500 race hats and more than 1,200 pairs of socks and gloves provided by Vermarc. Incredible amounts of drinking bottles delivered by Tacx will also be used throughout the season: 22,000 and 3,500 musette. More than 17,000 energy bars will be eaten and 12,000 race gels provided by Sports Control.
