Kevin de Weert moves up to 18th place in overall rankings
An individual time trial over 52 kilometres was decisive for the overall classification of the 97th Tour de France. Kevin de Weert, the number 19 of the overall rankings, crossed the finish line after 1 hour, 8 minutes and 30 seconds. With that time he jumped over Gadret, which brings De Weert in a 18th place. The time trial was won by Fabian Cancellara, who was outstanding in this time trial. Alberto Contador took the overall victory, he beated Schleck after a thrilling battle in the time trial.
